Welcome Animator's
Here we are at Animation Challenge #17
This month the challenge is to animate a walk cycle with any character of your choice. You can even make a walk cycle of a piece of fruit or something creative like that...
I am VERY open to help anyone who may need help on getting their animations going ect. I am no longer in school and able to dedicate more time to this animation group.
Due Date - Feb 29th 2008
Entry - Send all entries with a link or a .mov file of your animation to yorkanimates@gmail.com
Format - small 320x480 LARGE 720x480

Yeah you can join the group. i just put you on our watch list so you should be set up. All you have to do is send me a link your animation once its done and I will post it on the site for you.
I noticed you said you are farely new to this 3dstuff so if you want I do some mentoring/teaching on the side so dont be shy send me an email or a note thorugh DA and I will try and help as much as I can.

Does DA support the option to upload the .mov or do I have to find a different host and link to it?

I'm stuck between focusing or modeling and focusing on animation for my reel, but lately I've been leaning towards the latter so I do have some things in the way. I did animate a bouncing ball for the last assignment that is currently being rendered, though I'm wondering if it falls in the guide lines as it has a ratio of 0.749 (385x514).
If you want I can make a forum for all of the members to communicate through but Im not sure if it is needed right now. We have a lot of members but not a lot of participation due to time constraints and other situations. I think that once this group starts to pick up a better pace then I'll make one.
